The Kenmore Residents Association, Inc., (also known as the KRA), respects your privacy (also known as User). That is why we have adopted this privacy policy, which embodies our commitment to the protection of your privacy through adherence  to fair electronic information practices.

This privacy policy protects your privacy by informing you about:

1.) the types of personal data the KRA collects,
2.) how it collects these personal data,
3.) the specified, explicit and legitimate purposes for which it collects such data,
4.) the names of recipients to which it discloses personal data.

This policy also protects your privacy by assuring you that the (KRA): 

1.) implements reasonable policies and procedures to ensure that the personal data collected are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which they are collected and/or for which they are further processed,

Our website at without identifying yourself.  If you wish to join our mailing list, we ask for contact information such as your name, apartment number, and your  e-mail address.  A telephone number is optional.

If you are interested in having the KRA assist you with a Kenmore related matter, we might request certain data, including your name, apartment number, e-mail address and possibly a telephone number. In certain cases, we may need to provide management with written authority, from you, that we can discuss your resident related matter, on your behalf.  Otherwise, they may refuse to discuss anything with us as relates to you, occupants of your apartment, or anything related to your apartment and claim they are protecting resident confidentiality.

Log Files:

The KRA, at a future date, and on random occasions, may gather information about all users collectively, such as what areas of our site the users visit most frequently and what problems users experience more, and access most often.

The KRA automatically logs session sources and other data that track users' access to this site. These logs are analyzed for the overall, aggregate trends they reveal about our visitors, not for the behaviors, names, or opinions of individual users.


Please note that we do not knowingly solicit information from minors, and we do not knowingly market our support or any assistance to minors. Our policy is to represent only individuals eighteen (18) years of age, or older, and signed on a lease agreement with The Kenmore apartments.

Sharing the Information we collect on our website,

The information that you supply to KRA through this site will never be given, sold, rented, loaned or otherwise disclosed to any third parties outside of the KRA, the on-site management office, Bozzuto Management Company, or Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT). We will discuss with you our intention to approach management or a DC Government Agency to provide a means by which to resolve matters, or to comply with legal process or protect the rights of the KRA, or its Board of Directors.

We may share aggregated demographic information with other tenant associations, DC City Council, DC Area Tenant Association Consortium (DCATAC), and/or the press. This is not linked to any personal data that can identify any individual person. The KRA would obtain permission prior to releasing the name of any resident of The Kenmore apartments to the media.

Should you, for any reason, wish for us to discuss any concern that you present to the KRA Board of Directors with another Kenmore resident, we will require your written permission, either in writing or correspondence from the e-Mail address identified as your personal or business e-Mail.

Message Boards and Other Communications:

The KRA is not responsible for maintaining as confidential any personal or other data posted by you on message boards, apartment rating sites, through the media, through communication with others, including other residents, covering any matter you may have discussed with the KRA as a whole, or with any individual KRA Board Member, any media hosted by our website or otherwise communicated to this website and domain. Disclosing such personal data in this way makes this publicly available information unless expressly stipulated by the KRA.
